DEPOSIT POLICY

J7 Tattoo studio policies and client guidelines.

By booking an appointment with J7 Tattoo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all terms below.

1. Deposits Are STRICTLY Non-Refundable

All deposits are 100% NON-REFUNDABLE under all circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to: schedule changes, emergencies, artist changes, personal reasons, or dissatisfaction.

Deposits secure your appointment time and compensate for preparation, design, and administrative work.
No exceptions.

For ongoing tattoo projects, deposits do not expire as long as the client continues the project within a reasonable timeframe.

The deposit remains valid until the project is fully completed.

Rescheduling is offered as a one-time courtesy and is not guaranteed.

Reschedule #1

  • Minimum 72 hours’ notice required
  • Deposit remains valid for 6 months from the original appointment date

Reschedule #2

  • Minimum 72 hours’ notice required
  • Deposit remains valid for 3 months

Expiration
Failure to rebook or communicate before the expiration date will result in deposit forfeiture, and a new deposit will be required to book again.

Clients must notify the studio at least 72 hours before their scheduled appointment to reschedule.

Any cancellation or reschedule request made within 72 hours is considered a late cancellation and will result in automatic deposit forfeiture.

A no-call / no-show occurs when a client:

  • Does not contact the studio
    • Does not arrive for the appointment
    • Does not respond within the appointment window

This will result in immediate deposit forfeiture.
new deposit is required to book any future appointment.

Clients are required to arrive on time.

If a client is more than 1 hour late, the appointment may be cancelled at the artist’s discretion, the deposit will be forfeited, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.

In the case of a serious and unavoidable emergency occurring within 72 hours, the deposit may be transferred one time only with proper documentation.

Accepted emergencies include:
• Hospitalization
• Serious illness or injury (doctor’s note required)
• Car accident (police or insurance report)
• Immediate family death (parent, spouse, sibling, or child)

Required documentation:
Hospital/clinic paperwork • police report • legal notice • funeral documentation

Important:
Deposits remain non-refundable. Emergency situations only protect the deposit from being forfeited.
Lack of valid documentation will be treated as a late cancellation.

If the artist must reschedule due to travel, conventions, illness, or emergencies:

  • The deposit will be transferred to the new appointment date
  • The deposit remains non-refundable

Deposits cover design and drawing time.

No major design or concept changes are permitted after submitting the booking form.
Significant changes in size, subject matter, placement, or style are considered a new concept and will require a new deposit.

Clients with medical conditions such as diabetes, blood disorders, skin conditions, or immune-related issues may be required to provide a doctor’s note.

J7 Tattoo reserves the right to refuse service if tattooing is deemed unsafe.

Outside numbing creams are NOT permitted.

Only studio-approved numbing products may be used.
If a patch test is required, it must be scheduled at least 7 days prior to the appointment.

J7 Tattoo reserves the right to update studio policies when necessary.

Clients are responsible for reviewing the most current policies at the time of booking.
By booking an appointment, the client agrees to all current policies.
